This part is dedicated to ISO 19139 contributors. The schemas herein implements patches expected to solve issues raised by contributors in ISO 19139 issue tracker

This repository contains the XML Schema Implementation of ISO 19115, ISO 19115-2, ISO 19110 and ISO 19119.

Note : The official ISO 19139 XML schemas are available on the ISO web site. The ISO/TC 211 web site is also a good source of information.

Full ISO/TC 211

This section deals with full releases of ISO/TS 19139 based XML Schemas, i.e. consistent grouping of ISO/TS 19139 based XML Schema implementations of the ISO/TC 211 standards.

• 2009-03-16 release includes the XML Schema implementation of ISO 19115 (2009-03-16), ISO 19119 (2009-03-16), ISO 19115-2 (2009-03-16) and ISO 19110 (2009-03-16). It does not include ISO 19126 XML Schema Implementation. Note that all 2009-03-16 releases are conformant with OGC published GML 3.2.1 schemas from OGC 07-036 (schemas repository http://schemas.opengis.net/).
• 2008-06-26 release includes the XML Schema implementation of ISO 19115 (2006-05-04), ISO 19119 (2007-11-26), ISO 19115-2 (2008-04-07). ISO 19110 XML Schema Implementation is not included in this release since a major update is expected soon. ISO 19126 XML Schema Implementation would also need a major update and is not included.

ISO 19115

The XML Schema implementation of ISO 19115 is defined in ISO/TS 19139. It includes an XML Schema implementation of the part of the base standards (ISO 19103, ISO 19107, ISO 19108, ...) used in ISO 19115. It is the core XML Schemas of the ISO/TC 211 standards implemented using ISO/TS 19139 encoding rules.

• Version dated 16 March 2009 is conformant with OGC published GML 3.2.1 schemas from OGC 07-036 (schemas repository http://schemas.opengis.net/).
• Version dated 4 May 2006 corresponds to ISO 19139 Release candidate for TS. It implements ISO 19115:2003/Cor1:2006.
• Version dated 9 February 2006 Release candidate for TS
• Version 0.0 dated 7 September 2005 is the initial version of the XML Schemas resulting from ISO 19139 Editing committee

ISO 19126

Here are the XML schema implementations of ISO 19126 established by the EDEN Team:

• 2006-11-03 Release is a draft XML schema implementation of ISO 19126 (gfd namespace) documented here that has been proposed without success for incorporation to ISO 19126 amendment proposal.

These XML schemas are not maintained anymore by the EDEN Team.

ISO 19110

Here are the XML schema implementations of ISO 19110 established by the EDEN Team:

• 2009-03-16 Release corresponds to document 211n2411 Text for final ISO 19110:2005/FDAM 1, Geographic information - Methodology for feature cataloguing, Amendment 1). This is a major update due to important changes in the UML Models. This release is conformant with OGC published GML 3.2.1 schemas from OGC 07-036 (schemas repository http://schemas.opengis.net/).
• 2007-02-27 Release corresponds to document 211n2186 (ISO 19110:2005/Pdam. 1, Geographic information - Methodology for feature cataloguing, Amendment 1).
• 2006-06-08 Release has been attached to the New Work Item Proposal (NWIP) of ISO 19110:2005 Amendment 1.

ISO 19115-2

Here are the XML schema implementations of ISO 19115-2 established by the EDEN Team:

• 2009-03-16 release is conformant with OGC published GML 3.2.1 schemas from OGC 07-036 (schemas repository http://schemas.opengis.net/).
• 2008-04-07 release implements ISO/DIS 19115-2 as defined in document 211n2287 (Final text of ISO/CD 19115-2 Geographic information - Geographic information - Metadata - Part 2: Extensions for imagery and gridded data, as sent to the ISO Central Secretariat for issuing as Draft International Standard). It has been submitted, along with a documentation of the implementation, during the voting period of document 211n2287.

ISO 19119

Here are the XML schema implementations of ISO 19119 established by the EDEN Team:

• 2009-03-16 release is conformant with OGC published GML 3.2.1 schemas from OGC 07-036 (schemas repository http://schemas.opengis.net/).
• 2007-11-26 release is a patch of the previous release.
• 2006-11-15 Release
• 2006-10-16 Release is based on document 211n1977 (Text of ISO 19119:2005 Amd. 1, Geographic information - Services, Amendment 1, as sent to ISO for further processing).
